STEMMER IMAGING announces the latest addition to the Toshiba camera portfolio by introducing the IK-HR2D model, a fast, high definition CMOS sensor camera.
The IK-HR2D with HDTV resolution is the latest generation of the IK-HR1D model and incorporates DVI and USB interfaces. The 1/3" 16:9 colour CMOS sensor offers full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Depending on the settings the user may choose HD formats through the DVI output of 1080p, 1080i and 720p as well as frame rates of up to 59,94Hz. or 60frames/s respectively.
Adjustable shutter speeds & gamma along with automatic and manual white balance ensures the IK-HR cameras can be configured for a wide variety of applications. The camera can be easily adjusted using the on-screen menu.
The IK-HR series' progressive scan technology is the key to sharp, high resolution images without motion artefacts while maintaining an outstanding colour composition. The IK-HR2's small size of only 44 x 44 x 78mm make it the ideal device for applications with moving objects in confined spaces, such as industrial and scientific image processing, microscopy, broadcasting, security and monitoring.
Microscopy applications are a perfect fit for the IK-HR2D with its USB interface, eliminating the need for further hardware such as a Frame Grabber. The interface can transfer 5 frames per second at 1920 x 1080 pixels or 10 frames per second at 1280 x 720 pixels.
