What is the difference between the SMART and the LITE tools of Common Vision Blox?

SMART-tools enabled users with fewer experience and knowledge on imaging to create solutions using Visual Basic. Smart-Tools were purely OCX based. Since Version 7.1.2 the former SMART tools are no longer available from STEMMER IMAGING. You will need to contact Integral Vision Inc. directly for all questions concerning the former Vision Blox Tools.

LITE-Tools provide the maximum functionality of imaging tools to the experienced user and are recommended for most applications. Lite tools are based on DLLs that can be used under Visual C++, Delphi and Visual Basic. Additionally most of them are also available as OCXes for ease of use.
